As Jerry Jeff's bumper sticker would say "Goat Ropers Need Love Too". I would like to take umbrage to the language we all too often use. There is nothing wrong (nor right) with realizing you approach life from a different angle. When we recognize that in other people, we actually might conclude that they are trying to be their best self. Sure, we are going to condone shooting paintballs at the county sheriff's car, but "odd balls" and class clowns are surprisingly capable of taking the lonely and different under their wings, whereas bullies often make fun and taunt. This trait carried into adulthood often results in a person who sees equity as a primary path to inclusion. Nothing "wrong" with that, and these days, might be seen as uniquely good. Just some thoughts from the back side of a donkey.

Question: Nick, I am a big fan of Good Clean Fun and have always been impressed by your woodworking ability. What are some the projects on your carpentry "bucket list"? What's your next big project coming out of Offerman Woodshop?

Hi Nick!

Sydney from Evergreen, CO here. My family and I love your work (or play?) and were lucky enough to see you perform in Thackerville, OK before the pandemic hit. We loved the show!

My questions are: what was the first National Park you visited, how many in total have you been to and do you have a favorite one?

Thank you kindly for all the laughs,

Sydney

I am so excited to hear that you've recorded some Wendell Berry! I've enjoyed listening to your audiobooks, and look forward to hearing you read his essays. Thank you for being a light of positivity and kindness.

Question: What is the most impressive tire change you've ever witnessed? I'm thinking of one we witnessed together resulting from an encounter with a rolling stone (not the band), but perhaps there are others.

I can't recommend Hearts Beat Loud enough. It is such a sweet movie, and Nick does a great job. But the star of the movie is Kiersey Clemons.

Thanks for mentioning it today, it reminds me I need to watch it again.

Kiersey Clemons singing the songs of Keegan DeWitt will make you possess a great many of these "feels" the younger set talks about.
