That particular Lagavulin advert, entitled The Peat, was a gob-smacking good time. All of you warriors, hairy and otherwise, were so hilariously game and threw yourselves wholeheartedly into our foolishness. We do have fun.

Another habit we’ve developed in our string of Lagavulin ads is celebrating Father’s Day with my Dad (Happy Father’s Day, btw), who has turned out to be the most natural entertainer in the family. Jamie, when I do get back to your neck of the woods, I hope we can perhaps take a picnic to the top of some local fell and admire some sheep, and that’s not a euphemism.
By the way, for the uninitiated, a Ploughman’s Lunch, according to Wikipedia, is:
an English cold meal based around bread, cheese, and fresh or pickled onions, usually accompanied by butter and “pickle”, which in Britain denotes a chutney-like condiment.
And a Scotch egg? The finest of all comestibles that you can carry in your pocket? Quite simply:
a boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs and baked or deep-fried.
